Off topic: Multiple recipients on Contacts

Hi Thomas,

I try to find out how to setup a contact (group) in such a way that I can enter more than one email address. But that doesn't seem to be supported by Joomla (yet?). I found this change request in the Feature Tracker ( joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker...racker_item_id=30151 ), which exactly describes my wish, but this request seems to be on hold / pending but why it is on hold is not clear to me.

Do you have any idea if or when this feature will become availble? Or is there an easy workaround for the meantime which you know of? I can of course at my hoster setup different mailboxes en define multiple email-forwarders on them; but I'd rather like a solid Joomla solution. Or should I implement a (commercial) Contact/Forms plugin from the JED?

"Pending" means that the proposed Bugfix/Feature needs to be tested. According to Chad, the patch doesn't even work (anymore?).
So unless someone steps up and does a working Pull Request, this feature will not go in at all.

If you want to test the thing yourself, you can use the Patchtester component and apply the patch to your installation.
You can download the component here: github.com/joomla-extensions/patchtester/releases . Then just install it like you install any other extension.
After the installation you can go to the component and get a list of all open Pull Requests. Search for this one (#734) and click the "Apply" button.
If it doesn't work, you can just revert it again with the patchtester.

Be sure to give feedback on either the tracker or the Pull Request github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/734 after you tested it :)

I've just tested it and gave my comments. Now lets see what happens...
